George Watson has over 35 years of project management experience at Baxter Laboratories, Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services, and has also served as a part-time adjunct faculty at the UW-Madison for over 30 years. He is certified by PMI as a project management professional and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.

George earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota and his MBA in Business Systems from DePaul University. He earned his Doctor of Human Resource Education from Boston University. He has a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In the Master of Engineering in Engineering Management (MEM) program, George has taught EPD 612 Technical Project Management and EPD 784 Project Management Essentials.

At the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Cardinal Stritch University, Upper Iowa University, University of Alaska, and Alaska Pacific University, he has taught a variety of courses in these subject areas:
