Najoua Jouini specializes in sustainability, environmental studies, energy efficiency program evaluation, and qualitative research methodology. She has over 10 years of research and work experience in sustainability assessment, and analysis and design of energy systems. Najoua also has over seven years of experience in teaching sustainability assessment tools and improvement strategies to engineering professionals. She has successfully managed a broad range of research studies and projects in the energy, environmental, healthcare, and water sectors. Najoua holds bachelor and master of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Stuttgart in Germany, and earned an interdisciplinary doctorate degree in environment and resources. Najoua’s research focused on developing advanced life-cycle assessment tools to study the environmental and social impacts of products and services. She also investigated how assessment tools and sustainability metrics can help senior leadership in companies make more informed decisions.
