Christine Nicometo

Christine G. Nicometo, M.S. is a program director, executive communication consultant, and author who specializes in helping technical professionals better reach and influence their audiences. Through her director role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Engineering Professional Development, she teaches professional courses in Technical Presentations, Executive Presence, and Innovation, and leads the Foundations of Professional Development Graduate Capstone Certificate. She regularly develops custom training in these areas for industry partners. Her book, Slide Rules: Design, Build, and Archive Technical Presentations (2014) has been influential to the speaking careers of business, government, and academic leaders. Christine is an active member of IEEE and ASEE and coaches the next generation of technical leaders in her daughter’s FIRST Lego League robotics team. When she is not working, she enjoys sailing and traveling with her family.
